Hello!
My video card is the "Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller (Intel(R) 82845G Graphics Controller)". I read that it won't support these TnL effects in Civ 4, and therefore I'll have to buy and install a new video card. First off, is that correct? I'd hate to have to plop down cash for something unnecessary, after all

So, which video card should I buy? I'm on a budget of about $120-150, but I would consider a card priced as high as $200 if it meant very high quality.
If I buy the video card online, will I save money? Where can I buy the video card? How much money will I save?
Can I install the new video card myself? How much money will I save by doing this? What steps must be taken to install a new video card? Are there any articles on the Internet with instructions for doing this?

P.S. How much does RAM cost, where should I buy it, and how do I install it? I currently have 254.5 MB of RAM, and an upgrade for that might be a good idea too, I think.
