NO , but with a little luck, you can propaganda it.

My Bad! I withdraw my embarrassing question...watorrey said:@ Twonky
The commerce bonus for tourist attractions are listed in the civilopedia.
OCN is not a "working" number. It is a static number that is fixed, now your 'city count' thats important.Pacifist said:@Twonky
Just to clarify a little further ...
... do conquered/flipped cities count towards the Optimal City Number?
OCN = Optimal City Number
From the editor: Determines the optimal number of cities before rampant corruption occurs. If a player exceeds this number of cities, corruption dramatically increases, regardless of how far away from the capital a city is.
Basically, it is the number of cities you can have until corruption gets really bad. It is affected by world size and difficulty level.
OCN #s:
Tiny - 14
Small - 17
Standard - 20
Large - 28
Huge - 36
(you need half of the OCN to be able to build the Forbidden Palace - so 7 on a tiny map)
Multiply those numbers by the difficulty level:
Chieftain - 100%
Warlord - 95%
Regent - 90%
Monarch - 85%
Emperor - 80%
Demigod - 70%
Deity - 60%
Sid - 50%
That means, on Sid, on a standard size map, you only get 10 (20 * 50% (or .5)) cities before corruption will drastically increase.
According to the quote, courthouse & police station make a difference to the 'city count'. I've always avoided building a courthouse in my capital because it did nothing useful as far as I saw.Krikkitone said:One other correction the Fully correct formula is
Nopt = OCN * (L/100 + c + Gr + Gp*Nwe + 0.25*Ni)
where Ni is the number of Corruption buildings available (Courthouse+Police Station)
On the forumaly, if you look closely you will see that its calculating NOT OCN, but Nopt.Formula said:Nopt = OCN * (L/100 + c + Gr + Gp*Nwe + 0.25*Ni)
Courthouses and Police Stations now have a greater effect on distant corruption, too. The old cap of corruption was 95% and nothing helped it. Now, both courthouses and police stations lower the maximum corruption.
