Hi. I'm playing a game on Conquests 1.00. If I install the patch will it mess up the game I'm playing?

Thanks. I was playing Civ Vanilla and I noticed when I banded my Marines in an Army they no longer had Amphibious Attack. I'm playing Scandanivia on Conquests now, will my Berserkers have Amphibious Attack if I put them in an Army?

If you only put Beserks in the army, it will wtill have amphibious attack.

Yes the problem is not the marines or the Zerks, but mixing them with other units.

Watch out for patching as often it will make changes that makes prior saves incompatible. Hopefully the readme mentions that, but not always.

In any event 1.00 to 1.22 will kill all prior to 1.20.

Thankyou. Is that the same for Marines? Is it something they fixed in Conquests?

Same for marines. Another example is if you fill an army full of Keshiks, it will still get the movement bonus over hills and mountains.

Basically, it's anything that has a list of attributes selected are carried over, but not the things that need to be checked. (easier to understand if you look at the editor)

I believe the 1.22 patch won't allow play of any game saved in an earlier version. That could be multiplayer only, though.

The 1.20 patch removed Radio, which rendered pre-1.20 games obsolete and can't be loaded.

This question is not about civ3, but I didnt want to make a thread out of it.:)

If I type forums.civfanatics.com in the address bar, will it take me to the forums, or do I have to go through the main page everytime?

That kind of question really goes into the Site Feedback forum.

But to answer it, yes, you can type forums.civfanatics.com and get to the main forum page.

The last two are too late and cause pollution and harbors are cheap for military civs as well.

It is form of production, where you get extra shields for producing combat stuff. No culture or only half is created during that phase.

Here's another (probably stupid) question:
Details: Playing Civ3Complete, Monarch, Large map, Continents.

Fighting the Zulu, I finally get my first great leader (Tojo) after about 10000 battles with elite units  I send him to rush Universal Sufferage (did I mention the word 'finally' above?) in one of my cities.

He can't rush it. The button to hurry city production doesn't appear when Tojo is selected. AFAIK, in Vanilla Civ, you could do this.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

How do I mobilize?

You need Nationalism first. Then, go to your F1 screen. There will be a box called 'Mobilize' or something like that. Click it, and you're in business. Remember that you can't order the construction of any cultural buildings once mobilized, but any already started will complete (i think  ).

Hope that helps. Hope even more I'm right!
