There is an attack bonus when you attack from a hill or a mountain?

Interestingly enough, while there isn't a bonus, it does seem that way when I attack from a hill/mountain. I know it's just me, tho.

If I want to rename a unit, do I need to change anything in the .txt files?

That depends on what you mean by rename a unit. If you mean rename the battleship class to something else, then yes, you'd probably have to go through and rename it in the textfiles and what not. If you mean an individual unit, do as Abegweit says.

In fact you don't need to touch the text files. Just go to the editor, go to the units tab and hit rename. That's all there is to it. You only need to change the text files if you change the PRTO_ entry in the editor.

Thanks. I thougth not but after I renamed some units in a scenario it crashed... and I had just simply renamed it without making any changes in the PRTO entry.

I guess it crashed due to some other reason... :hmm:

In the ROM of Civ3, there's a pair of folders that say WWII, Prehistoric, Ancient Japan, etc.... What it's their utility?

I think those contain bonus units that came with PTW. I don't know much more about them besides that though.

How decease works in units on a jungle or flood terrain?

It has a chance to cause population to die or in th case of units in the jungle, they could die. To tell ou truth, I have not seen a unit dies in about 2 years. That was the last time it happened to me.

Sanitation or cutting jungles stops it.

To tell you all the truth - I've seen exactly one unit die in the jungle. An Immortal. He was fortified there for a long time.
