I downloaded your Bismarck save. I don't have the game loaded up, but CA2 doesn't seem to be having any trouble. It's coming up as C3C 1.22. Which save do you really want looked at? I'll load up the game and give it a go.

Bismarck was on Regent, but the Celts Warlord save is probably the one that would be best for now. One step at a time, and such.
The fist two are c3c 122 and load fine for me.
Well its 8xxAD and you are in the first age. You have 8 towns and have not even seen all of your land mass. Running lux at 20%, not need at Warlord. Take a look at some of the SG's for train game in the SG forum.

In addition to vmxa's good stuff, I'll mention, as usual, the Civ 3 Hall Of Fame (HOF) as being a good place to download top games at your level/map size/victory condition.
You can download the end-game .sav and run a replay to get a good idea of what's going on.......Or, look at periodic saves.

Peace treaty + alliance question.
I had an alliance with the Americans against the Zulu. The Americans have done surprisingly well on their end of the bargain and it looks like they're going to finish the Zulu off.
If I re-negotiate peace with Russia to include an alliance against the Zulu, will my reputation take any kind of hit assuming the Zulu are destroyed by the Americans?
Sub question (which may render the original question moot):
I was previously at war with the Russains to the point of level 1 WW but I'm fairly sure I have been at peace long enough to run it down. Can I actually get WH from the Russians in this scenario?

If they quoting 'mistreatment of Russia', you must have broken a twenty turn deal by declaring war. Are you sure your peace treaty had run a full twenty turns? I use this tactic often to gain free techs by tying a gpt deal with an alliance against a soon-to-be-destroyed tribe, and have never suffered a rep hit.
