Welcome to the forums, Calgacos!
Yes, I think this is just how the game is; if you don't play the default game certain features don't come up. The first thing you'll notice is that your palace is not being built (the people love you and offer to expand your palace, etc.). So this is normal, and there's not much you can do.
The only thing you can do is to go in the game's properties and replace the standard Conquests file with that of the scenario you're playing, so that you're fooling the game into thinking it's the standard game you're playing. At least your palace will be built then, but I believe features like the Hall of Fame are still not coming back.

Hi!
Is there any tool that allows higher cost-values for units/buildings in the editor. The current limit is 1000 shields, as I remember. The same question for game-turns: Is there a way to have more than thousand turns? These things always stopped my modding appetite.
I think it's more complicated than I said. A scenario usually comes with seperate files for units, buildings etc., and you would need to put them in the regular folders as well, instead of in the scenario folder, otherwise the game can't find those files and you will get those errors.Hm i try it but i get many errors ..i dont think it is workingmaybe i do it wrong;p tnx anyway
You cannot go over 1000 shields without the program exiting on you. That appears to be hard coded. I believe that the same holds true for the number of turns.
2. When I set the grid to "on", always when loading a save-game the grid is turned off, though my ini says GridOn=1. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?
