He doesn't only need 100k, he also needs twice as much as the nearest opponant. i don't know if you've checked that...he will win with 100 000 points immediately. Anyway.

I think you'll win as soon as that other civ is out of the picture.Just curious...if I get to 100,000 but an AI has 51,000, can i take him out and get to 102,ooo and win? (roughly speaking of course)
Somehow, vmxa, I think this should be your signature.. . . . Get me troops and let me smite someone. . . .
It did go through my head that mobilization would probably be a good thing for you, but it went out again as well.NOBODY told me.. but I could go "mobilization" and get more shield, right?
How war weariness works has been tested by Oystein, but not for Multiplayer. Oystein did find some bugs. One I remember was, if I recall correctly, in the case of an AI taking another AI's town, both get war weariness. If war weariness in AI - AI situations is different from AI - Human situations, I can very well imagine it works different again in Human - Human situations.Okay, we got it. Only the guy who started a war will get WWPs. The one who is attacked will go free for ever. This is the only explaination which supports our observations.
You don't get war happiness from a civ who joined a war through an alliance. No, I'm pretty convinced there's a terrible bug going on here. Regretfully. That your opponent got a city with 4 happy people: maybe war Happyness from all those AI you sicked at him?
