I am building mech infantry, all of my cities have barrackses (Sun Tzu), I have all strategic resources, and tons of cash . . . but it won't let me upgrade TOWs to mechs. I know a lot of people will think this is a stupid idea, and maybe it is, but I want to try it out. Anyone got a
diagnosis?

I would go with the full install myself, if you can afford the disc space. I don't remember what the minimum installs, but typically it leaves the music files on the disc. Since PTW & C3C install on top of Civ3 (instead of replacing it) they reference a lot of files that VC3 already put there. Not sure what files aren't installed, but it could affect (in a minor way) gameplay.a4phantom said:3. If I am fresh installing Civ3 and Conq, does it matter whether I install Civ3 at the minimum (500mb) or best performance (700mb) level? Obviously I will never use Civ3 in vanilla form, but does the difference affect the performance of Conq?

Would you expound your answer?Padma said:Yes.![]()
Why not install the spanish version in a different directory?a4phantom said:You know that might just be nutty enough to work . . . not Spain, but I'll be in South America this fall. But would it work on my computer installed over American VC3? So there's no way to adjust the language![]()

E.g.s "Yes, it is spam", "Yes, it is good etiquette"
I'm assuming spam and "good etiquette" are mutually exclusive!![]()

Sometimes it is good etiquette, sometimes it is spam. And when it is which depends at least partly on the mod reading it, and his/her mood at the time!
More correctly it is *always* good etiquette, but it *can be* spam.![]()
