Quick Questions and Answers

Sorry I meant "How do you add a signature on civfanatics?"

Go to MY Account > Settings and Options > Edit Signature

Also about your infraction. I believe it acts like a warning. Accumulate to many and the mods may take more serious action, such as a ban. See here for more info.

When did you register you have to have been a member for 5 days before you can have a signature (as explained in the like I provided).

Questions about social policies:
1. If I have 3 SP in Piety and then adopt Racionalism, will I lose all bonuses from Piety?
2. If I do things from previous question and then take another policy from Piety will I then lose bonuses from Racionalism and have all 4 bonuses from Piety again?

Yes to both

Mod QA

Is there a 'space age' mod? (or anything that makes Civ5 an Alpha Centauri or close to?)

=^.^=

About circumnavigation bonus (proving world is round).

Actually, you can get one movement more per turn for naval units if you enable this is the configuration file. I forget which one, but search for "circum" in the file in the top XML directory, I believe.

Is there anywhere in the game where you can find out exactly how many of a specific luxury resource you have? I thought it was the trading screen, but it doesn't agree with the map. I have 3 gold resources in my territory. They are all being worked by cities. They are mined and connected to my road system. They are not already traded. And yet I cannot trade them. I know at least ONE of them is registering, since I am getting the happiness bonus from it. But why do I have a grayed out luxury resource section in my trading screen? What am I doing wrong?

Welcome :goodjob:

Your potential trading partners probably already have gold.

Hey, I'm wondering how to disable the animation whenever attacking someone with your unit, so that it will just instantly show how many HP each party lost? Thanks

in the game setup there is a customizable option "quick combat" and it will allow just that

Quick question:

Tell me step by step what to click on to download all these modding stuff?

on the main menu click mods>browse mods> then you'll see a library with tons of mods from other people where you can download them and enable them.

Thx Dude, but I meant the modding stuff like ModBuddy, WorldBuilder etc. :D

In your Steam Library, there is an option to switch from "games" to "tools." Depending on how you have the window configured, the mechanics for this might vary, but mine is on a dropdown menu at the top of the games list. On the tools list, install and run "Sid Meier's Civilization V SDK." For help with using the various tools on the menu that comes up, check out the modding forums. Enjoy.

I see many suggestions to turn ruins off; do ruins have a disproportionate benefit AI players on higher difficulties?
