Quick Questions / Quick Answers

When you capture a mercantile city-state, does their unique resource (e.g. glass) get removed?

Do City States have the same rules as player/civs regarding resources for units. I notice constantly that a CS will have mounted units & units that use other resources, even if the CS has none. Can they heal without them, as they soon get pillaged if they have any, & I am loath to give them any units requiring resources, unless quest, because of them. If they do need them, it actually weakens them having resource needed units.

When ai declares war on you, is there any way to see if he has been bribed to do it?
And also can i bribe some AI into war? Cause every attempt has been met with "Impossible!"

They do not follow the same rules. They do not need resources to build or maintain units.

Yes, when the AI is bribed into a war the peace option will have a little mouse over that says they can't make peace for X turns.

It is possible to bribe an AI into a war but generally only if they already want to, at which point it will mostly be very cheap.

They do not follow the same rules. They do not need reduces to build it maintain units.

Thanks for the reply. I can happily give CS specialised units without worrying that they cannot regain health as not having the resources available.

If you have info addict you can see if any country has bribed another by looking at their imports & exports.

Question: I completed a stoneworks in Amsterdam and as a result of my expertise policy (progress branch), I get culture when I complete a building. The pop up shows I got it in Amsterdam as well as Rotterdam. As you can see in the screenshot, I don't have a stoneworks in Rotterdam at all. Is this a bug, or is something else going on I'm not aware of? 20220405193405_1.jpg 20220405193422_1.jpg

Is there a way to penalize ranged cav when attacking fortifications? I'm using them a little too effectively right now to kill units stationed in citadels.

It says that you completed some building in Rotterdam and got culture from it. When you in later game and large maps complete like 20 buildings in a turn pop up would take to much to list every building in every city. You always can go to city view and look up which building you have built.

They can but it is pretty rare. Most common is conquering hum an ally CS, so this probably means the AI peaces out too quickly in other case. Although I'm not sure I can fault the logic as I try to avoid conquering CS too as they are pretty low value.

I used Game.DoEnactResolution funtion. Is there something like Game.DoRevokeResolution? Where is it defined?

Anyone knows where the value of Influence lost for Trespassing through a City-State is defined and how it is named? I cannot find it in Defines. In which file it is used?
Also, I found "MINOR_FRIENDSHIP_ANCHOR_MOD_PROTECTED". Where it is used?

New to the mod here after years of hiatus! Glad to see the mod is still being developed and at least maintained, such dedication is so rare. I just wanted to ask, is there a VP compatible unit stacking mod out there? I am guessing if there is one, it is probably prone to causing crashes/breaking game balance so is not recommended. I was just curious is all. Thanks in advance!

Is there any way for bulding (dummy) to lower the Faith Purchase Cost of Missionaries? I used Building_UnitCombatProductionModifiers, but it didn't work.

I know they're two different tables, but what's the column name for policies reducing the cost of faith purchases?
