When you capture a mercantile city-state, does their unique resource (e.g. glass) get removed?
They do not follow the same rules. They do not need resources to build or maintain units.Do City States have the same rules as player/civs regarding resources for units. I notice constantly that a CS will have mounted units & units that use other resources, even if the CS has none. Can they heal without them, as they soon get pillaged if they have any, & I am loath to give them any units requiring resources, unless quest, because of them. If they do need them, it actually weakens them having resource needed units.
When ai declares war on you, is there any way to see if he has been bribed to do it?
And also can i bribe some AI into war? Cause every attempt has been met with "Impossible!"

Question: I completed a stoneworks in Amsterdam and as a result of my expertise policy (progress branch), I get culture when I complete a building. The pop up shows I got it in Amsterdam as well as Rotterdam. As you can see in the screenshot, I don't have a stoneworks in Rotterdam at all. Is this a bug, or is something else going on I'm not aware of? View attachment 624209 View attachment 624210
Does ai major civ conquer city states? In my last 10 games, I have never seen this, and became curious
