Quick Questions , Quick Answers

Sorry that I've been asking so many questions but this mod is so expansive. I've used C2C_World for map generation with 125% resources and my entire continent with 5 other Civs on it and there are 2 sources of copper 1 obsidian and NO Iron sources. Do I need to crank up the resource percentage more or use a different map generation? I like resources being a little sparse but an entire continent without metals? It's a little silly.

Could you be a bit polite and not skip my question from the previous page, for a question I ask ...

Are you going to implement animated leaders like in the vanilla game or the RoM game?
Short answer is no.

Long answer is that animated leaders take more RAM, and doesn't fit game.
Also we don't have anyone, who would be able to create animated leaders.

@Toffer90 resource generation is screwed up
Why didn't you ask Noopy how long he has played on his map? Iron is not revealed at same time as Copper and Obsidian. And as the game progresses a hill or mountain with a mine may start to generate a resource like iron.

@Noopy,
How long have you been playing the game with 125% Resource setting?

At 125% some resources might not have space left to be placed due to earlier placed bonuses taking all the spots; for all resources to be placed in the ratios defined in xml one should pick 75 or 50%.
100% should be fine too though, especially on larger map sizes.

But yeah, we might want to increase the relative amount of certain strategic resources; but best of all would be to add more events that add resources like that on the map after map generation when certain conditions are met, e.g. no player having resource but have tech to use it (increased chance to trigger event the more players that meet the condition).

Mines, and other improvements, does spawn resources, and resources that are rare on the map has greater chance to be spawned by an improvement than a resource that is bountiful on the map, so having resources on 50% at map-gen will increase the amount of improvements that can discover resources and might make iron/copper and so on more frequent in the long run.

I'm on turn 1090/4000 and have iron working in the classical era, still just those resources.

Ah! gotcha. I never would've though to select a lower resource rate like that. I did notice I would get a couple resource spawns but nothing for mining, only animals and foods. Maybe just got unlucky. is C2C_World the recommended map? I've seen only a couple map generators being used, that one included. But again, thank you for all the answers! I don't mean to be a bother lol.

But i can only build asian and neanderthal culture in conquered cities with other continental cultur. Or has it to do, that i am in the ancient ? I have to research construction and then build migrants to get the other continental culture in my capital city ?

I have two other questions. The first one is, what bring it to me to upgrade capitive civilians to capitive immigrants ? Both can grow your cities to 8 only. The second and more important question is. Must i always klick with my mouse - and have only those options - and + to set the wonder production of the A-I. to zero or how can i in the world builder set their world wonder and culture wonder production to zero like in the past c2c world builder without always clicking so annoying on - .How can i manage it and save time and nerves ?

You have to conquer civs with different continental cultures

No, I play Asians China. In conquered cities like middle east i can only build my asian culture and neaderthal culture. No middle east culture, european culture, african culture and so on. Only my asian culture and neanderthal culture in every other conquered city.

How can i set the world wonder production to zero by the A.I. in the world builder without clicking - with my mouse ? Why i can´t write zero like in the past world builder in c2c. I really hate that and i am so frustrated, that i put resistance points to their cities so they can´t build the world wonders. But i don´t like to interrupt their develope, i just want to stop them to build cultural and world wonders.

The first one is where i entered the ancient, the second one is my actual save. I "cheat" because i though first this is a bug, that i can´t get the culture from the conquered cities. So i just add all other culture in my capital city.

It's impossible to make the AI incapable of building world wonders in the world builder.
Unit production, building production and world wonder production is the same production, it comes from the same hammers.
