Hey Duke. From memory that's part of the random rubbish that fills the background of:
"I am the Walrus" by The Beatles.
It's not part of the song lyrics, true. It's all mixed in behind. But you're right, it's very famous. I don't have the track anymore but I seem to remember it continues at the very end "What, is he dead? Sit you down father. Rest you.".
Right?
[edit]
I say "random rubbish", and it certainly has little to do with the rest of the song, but it's all a quote from Shakespeare, "King Lear" Act Four, Scene 6:
Oswald:
Slave, thou hast slain me. Villain, take my purse.
If ever thou wilt thrive, bury my body
And give the letters which you find'st about me
To Edmund, Earl of Gloucester. Seek him out
Upon the English party. O, untimely death!
Death!
Edgar:
I know thee well: a serviceable villain,
As duteous to the vices of thy mistress
As badness would desire.
Gloucester:
What, is he dead?
Edgar:
Sit you down, father. Rest you.
Why the Beatles chose to put that behind I am the Walrus I'll never know.
