Quote Comp.

Who's da man?!:D

Well now its my turn i'm gonna make this very hard because i'm very mean!!

Qoute:
"I can feel you waiting for me as the sun retreats to the hills and I, beneath the blanket of the burning sun, wrap myself within."

This will be difficult and you probably won't find it on a search engine.

Good Luck

:goodjob:

That really is too easy - with a search engine that is.
I'm not going to say the answer because I don't want to set another question.
But if I say "too much water" and "more of a direction", I think you'll believe me!

Damn it!!!! How?! Stormerne which search engine do you use?

Well Williamvanoranje You got it right. I thought that would be so hard:eek:

Well let's try again...

Okay so maybe I'm being greedy but I made my last one too easy.

Oh yeah the answer was Jay-Z "Can I get a..."

So taking that was the right answer here's my lyrics...

"Time has washed away and I may now wonder..."

This is reasonably hard but here's hopin!!!;)

Google. When you're an IT professional like me, it's the only choice. It cuts out all the "noise".

The secret is in how it orders the results - it's not random, it orders by "authoritative site". It works out how useful a site is by seeing how many other sites have links to it, then it puts those hits at the top of an intermediate list. Then it counts the links from other highly rated sites as being worth more and makes a final list. So you always see the most useful links at the top.

Plus it currently has 1,610,476,000 web pages in its repertoire, so if it's out there Google will find it!

Google is very good!! But my new lyrics can't be found so easy...

Enjoy!!!;)

Yes they can but you got them wrong !!!!

You said:
--- "Time has washed away and I may now wonder"
and if you put those into Google it draws a blank. But the REAL lyrics are:
--- "Time has washed away and now I may wonder"
and if you put THOSE into Google it comes up straightaway!

Actually I found those by breaking the search into "Time has washed away" and "wonder". Bingo!

This is why I don't want to set any more questions. Only the old songs (that of course a curmudgeon like me remembers) are less likely to be on the net. I don't really think that's fair for the younger CFC members. Because otherwise it simply comes down to who can use a search engine best (like picking up mistakes such as the one you made!).

Sorry bout that. I was just working on the lyrics from what I remembered.

Well here it is corrected:
"Time has washed away and now I may wonder"

Well you'll find it easily now that the mistake is corrected :)
Sorry,
Dexter:p

I believe it was "Greensleeves". That was too easy Duke ol'boy :D

Well here we go, more non-singing violence!!!:goodjob:

"Can't I take away all this pain,
I try to every night all in vain."

This one is pretty easy, but I'm listening to the CD right now so its the first to come to mind.:p

korn - freak on a leash

next quote:

Time takes its crazy toll

And how does your mirror grow

You better watch yourself when you jump into it

'Cause the mirror's gonna steal your soul

I've got it Willem but to be fair I'll let someone else have it cause I've had too many turns already.

Oh yeah and you made a tiny mistake if i'm correct, the song should go,
"Get it right dawg, we ain't ever left"

:D But if no-one gets it in the next hour or so I'll take another turn:p

... P.Diddy "Bad Boy For Life"

I couldn't resist the temptation!!! I think he did the song with some various other artists but I can't remember them all so here's my new lyrics...

"I wipe it off on a tile, the light is brighter this time
Everything is 3D blasphemy
My eyes are red and gold, the hair is standing straight up..."

Here's a clue(but I doubt you'll need it :D ) the bands second album was released this year and it was titled after the place from which they came. Well Good-Luck!!! :goodjob:

Well, that would be the terrible (in my opinion) Slipknot song known as Wait and Bleed. Seeing as I've gotten that one, here's my go at this:

"as cool as Kim Deal"

It's difficult, but possible. I'm sure someone can guess this though.:goodjob:
