Two questions (and I apologize in advance if these have been discussed elsewhere, I haven't had much time to read up on Civ5 quite yet):
-Are random events going to be a feature in Civ5? In particular, I thought those were a nice/interesting feature that impacted gameplay enough to throw a curve or two at you. Certain aspects of it were trivial, but could easily be improved on, I believe.
-Civil unrest. . .has there been much indication as to the impact of civil unrest? I particularly enjoy city flipping. In the Civ4 expansion scenarios there were independent states and minor civs. I think it would be cool to see a strong Civ that falls on hard times or starts losing in a war lose its reach in outlying areas, so say a colonial area or outlying city declares its independence and becomes either a minor civ or neighboring independent state.
