Today, I will find out if I passed my class... I didn't get all papers in, but on the other hand, my grades have an average of 7,66 or such (On a scale from -3 to 12), which is good.

I am quite nervous.

To be kicked out of high school? Are you kidding? I want an education fer cryin out loud. If I got kicked out here where I live, I would have a terrible time finding my way through live.

It's not like in America where high school is actually the second half of our primary school. That means yup, it's not that advanced.

I made up with an old friend I had a feud with!

Has anyone seen Swedishguy?

Woohoo! Summer is really here! 70F - 80F is ridiculously awesome after going through the year with 30F-40F weather. I think I might go tool around the UW tomorrow and reinvigorate my hatred for hippies and hipsters. :D

I Past Thuh Dryvin Tesd!

So no real change to your life then?

Spending the better part of a week acting as if you lived in the 1800s and had no home is incredibly fun and deeply fulfilling.

At the whole i made a pretty good performance at the swimming comp that has been in these four days. I am now very tired and its good that the season is over because now it is time to rest. Now the real summer begins, no swimming :D

It's a beautiful day!! I was pissed off having to switch my day off to today to accomodate the cable company, but they have already come and gone. I'm leaving now to go play with my doggie in the park. See you suckas later!

Well, this was almost a rant, but it wound up being a rave...

The sellers of the house my wife and I were buying backed out of the deal (at the closing meeting no less! They came out all the way from PA just to say no!?) due to a) some vague wording in the agreement they signed, and mostly because b) the bank agent conducting the closing was not the person they thought was going to (i.e. our mortgage consultant). This offended their sensibilities.

So that deal fell through.

HOWEVER:

Our realtor had us look at a few more houses that weekend, and we found one that was a much better deal for us. It is within walking/biking distance of our workplace, only very slightly smaller, and is a much nicer house in general, not to mention in a better neighborhood. We're only paying $500 more for it, so it's a good deal for us. Assuming all goes well, we'll close at the end of July.

Bonus: the fence along two sides of the back yard has grape vines growing on it. That's lots of juice, jelly, wine, or hand-eating, depending on the variety. :yumyum:
