Why not bother? I totally get BM's intenton, if we've waited this long for the model then getting the units_32 shouldn't be neglected.

It looks like there are pcx files in the zip. Including a unit 32 without civ-color. I guess that means stico prefers those versions.

Now for the sounds.

There are of course the usual needed (attack with bow, running horses, death, etc.). I've promised to get together a special victory sound - a blast on a conch. Looks like stico is a lot more anxious than I'm available atm.

oh man, i have waited for this unit for almost twenty years. thank you stico, i apprecate your work, could you make an extra version with no soldiers inside and covered with a cloth, like a supply wagon, i would appreciate it much, and it would be a huge and usefull addition to the units array.

For the sounds of the Ini-file, may I suggest to use the sounds of the Egyptian War Chariot and not the normal chariot sounds, as the Ratha has an archer attack.

Do you think you could help me with a sound for oxen unit like this one in attachment?

Nah, don't exaggerate, I'm just adding some sounds here and there. The oxen cart looks nice, I guess I could come up with something.

Most parts of the terrain can be downloaded with Rick´s Battleground v1.2 Map. The combination with Snoopy´s seaterrain still needs some work and will be available soon. I´m here somewhat short in the answers as this is the thread of the Ratha.

I might do such a modification in one go.

Except it's a gross exaggeration because the project only started three or four years ago and the game's only been around for a little over a decade.

I'm working on a unit32 with civ-color & alternative pedia icons. (Target - by end of this week). Those don't necessarily need to be in the zip. So if stico thinks the rest of the package is good to go ...

Also deserves its own thread. As well as posting to announcements & monthly poll.
