You don't call the tests at the end of the year "finals" ?

They're two different things.

We don't have 'finals'. Over here in the east we have EOGs (end of grades) and EOCs (end of courses).

 

[Zack]

Oh. I have both, but I don't have an EOC for every class.

Typically, the EOC is easier than the final.

 

[civplayah]

I think the EOGs are easier because they're for the whole grade level and the EOCs are specific for skill level.

EOGs are specific to a course as well. Or they are here in Raleigh.

Well, to a class. For example, we'll have a math EOG, but an Algebra I EOC.

I enjoy it. Way better than middle school for sure.

It's ehh thus far, I mean there are all the awesome people who I can see, but then there is homework, etc.

The past two years of school were good. But now, I hve homework in just about every subject each night. It's simply annoying. And I'm neurotic.

7th grade was too easy- 9th grade is really challenging.

I like my grade thus far.. barely any homework.. EVEN with AP USH !

AP US History? I thought you were a sophomore?

We take World History in 9th grade. Then U.S history in 10th..

I'm pretty satisfied with my grades... I thought I would do so much worse in Health Science since the teacher's a...

Hmm. For me (not certain on senior year):

9th: World Geography or AP Human Geography
10th: World History
11th: US History
12th: Government/Economics or AP European History
