Swiss Emperor Responds
In light of French aggression, Italian buffoonery, and general discontent of Switzerland, the Emperor has, in acting as the will of the people, taken steps to see Switzerland not made a mockery of. The army is expected to undergo continued expansion, and they will be busy with the Swiss countermeasure to the French.

These lands are to be annexed into the Swiss Empire this year. This should help balance the power in Europe, as the French decide to overstep their boundaries. To help contain the growing French, the Emperor also issues a Pact of Peace with Holy Rome. The details of this treaty include favorable trade relations, a defensive treaty, and a non-aggression pact.
In regard to the Italian Question, the Emperor has stated that it is obvious that the Italians have not learned enough from history; this foolish act of aggression will be met with a proper response if not rectified within one year's time. The Italians would do good to remember who has the bigger navy and who has the bigger treasury.
The French had in the past welcomed Swiss co-operation in Hispania but now the Swiss are attempting to hinder the Emperor's claimant by right of his uncle! They do so without the honesty of asking for a table talk and so do it in the name of "halting French aggression." Our "aggression" is but a welcomed return of French order to the Spanish regions. We are pleased though that north Spain is safe; with Swiss envy that we retook Corsica from them it is clear that they not acting in their best interest but rather on idealogical means. Since the first Napoleon Bonaparte dictated the term ideology for those who had their head in ideas but not in reality it is vital the Swiss heed their lessons. The fact that the Swiss are now attempting to lure other European powers into this crazed crusade against France suggests that civilization is endangered in places like Switzerland, thus France and the Roman Empire must continue to remain strong to ensure that the light of civilization does not die out. Hence we must spread out of Europe, while securing all that can be secured of Spain so that any further acts of confrontation by the Swiss will not hinder our already claimed territories.
The Emperor himself will later publish a map of French plans, while the Swiss continue their annexation and condemn France for doing the same.
Clearly ideology aids ones ability to preach what you say, Switzerland.
