Because of these recent events that happened yesterday I think that today I am going to play the ww1979 senario and just obliterate the middle east.

Mullet

that is a scary scnro....i have played it several times....i usually am India as no one is mad at them at the begining o' the scnro and i build a rail line through, oh man, Afganastan right into USSR's belly wif only howitzrs.....i attack and take cities then retreat the same turn. (howies have two moves per turn) once i eventually took all of USSR only getting nuked twice (1.usa 2.china).........

OMG, so im not the only person to do that... I played as India and completly obliterated the middle east <img src="graemlins/reddevil.gif" border="0" alt="[Red Devil]" /> , sorry, I just cant stand what they did... <img src="graemlins/snipersmilie.gif" border="0" alt="[Sniper]" />

On the senario-Yes, it is very hard to win without being nuked but so far ive only attacked (besides middle east) China (short war) i had a nuke, they had about 57 ships right there... the did nuke delhi <img src="graemlins/blushing.gif" border="0" alt="[Blush]" /> but i recovered.

Despite knowing full and well the events of Tuesday, sad as they may be, I will per my personal policy *not* get involved in some flaming the middle east issue, or discussing mass genocide on certain ethnic groups or religious groups.

Hear hear. We Americans have a righteous anger right now, but we must remember that the people who did this were NOT representative of all Moslems, all Arabs, etc. I have Arab-American friends who are just as shocked, disgusted, etc., as other Americans. And I'll bet many younger Arab-Americans will fight with our armed services in the coming war. I hope that war will be precise, and totally disable all terrorist networks without too many innocent casualties--there will always be SOME innocent casualties in a war, but I hope care is taken to minimize these while maximizing damage to the infrastructure of terror itself.... And I hope bin-Laden or whoever is responsible is hauled off to one of our prisons (I hope a state prison like Attica, New York) and put in with the general population... he'll be everyone's b*tch there, just like the child molestors, and spend the rest of his life in obscure humiliation.... It would be more punishment for him than sending him to Allah (who would probably send him to hell, though)....

But emphasize PRECISION--do it swiftly, cleanly, and brutally against those responsible or associated, and our victory will be complete.... Randomly kill innocents, and we will be no better than they are, and they will be able to say that....

I agree, although the anger of the american people right now must be great it is impotant to rember that the terrorist were private citizens and action should not be taken against any state until the smokeing gun is found. It is important to rember that if the American people launch strikes of retaliation against civilian targets in other countries then how is that any better then what was done to the united states by the terrorists.<br />Perhaps Iraq or the Talaban goverment were involved but until that can be proven there can be no "war"<br />To avoid misunderstanding I do condem the attacks and my country (Australia) has declared that we will support a violent retaliation but in your quest for the culprits make sure you find the right one before you kill them.

I know this must be a little hard to take right now and what i am saying is of little condolance to the American people but rember your time will come.

It is difficult making a precise war against a worldwide secret network as the one of Bin Laden. Nevertheless, this is what must be done. Hopefully there are leads that makes this possible.

-But it is so easy to say. Far more difficult to cope with, is that our lives are changed forever from now on. Games, action movies, abstract philosophy or politics, what does it matter? It is so superficial. -I went to see "Apocalypse Now" the other day, and it was but a vague representation of reality, when reality comes crumbling down like in the past few days.
