little side-note: many here who make a map of Europe immediatly divide Belgium and give it to the Netherlands or france. Naughty boys, remember that in this little case too many complexicities would halt everything. What's up with the big nation idea? i would like to see a map with more divided countries and microstates. This grand unification policy is just too easy to be taken seriously

Sounds good, but there are some problems with applying it to real life:
- Turkey would never give away parts of its territory, though it would be very nice to give Eastern Thrace, Istanbul and parts of the coast to Greece
- Bulgaria won't probably agree to join Yugoslavia

I do realize this is fiction, though.

And a question:
Is Germany much smaller or everything else much bigger?

Yeah, I have nothing against Turkey, but I find it very appealing for greek once again being spoken in Konstantinopel.

But Iceland was invaded and colonized by the vikings, so some of the indigenous people might find that offensive even dough the official language of the country is very much Scandinavian.
