Reloading for a great leader

I was just wondering if anybody knows if its possible to reload a victorious battle again and again until my elite attacking unit produces a leader. I know when I've reloaded in the past, the creation of great scientific leaders or whatever have variously happened and not happened when I initiated the same events on the same reload, so I'm just wondering if the same thing applies to military leaders.

I know xD It's a really cheap tactic but, well, yeah, I'd just like to know if it can be done. I really appreciate any light that can be shed on this matter. Thanks! ^^

If you do not have the preserve seed on, then yes. It could be done. I do not know, if it can be a sure bet. IOW I suspect you could do it many times and not get one. It could be a lot of work to reload a large map.

I hate to do a reload for even a crash, let a lone to get a leader. You will one every dozen or so elite wins. In my games that can be done several times in a single turn. No need to sweat it.

Mmeh....I don't recall. I just kind of clicked 'play last world' when I started this particular game, and I got the world and rules my dad had been using previously. I don't know how to check. I tried the 'play last world' again, and the 'preserve random seed' box is not checked, but I don't know if that's correct.

I'll give it a few tries. Thanks!

I believe even if you preserve the seed, you get different promotion results. I think the battle outcomes are preserved but not promotions.

No, you'll get exactly the same results if you do exactly the same thing. However, if you change anything that accesses the RNG, you'll not get the same results. (Contacting an AI leader, for example, accesses the RNG.)
