Since the patch I have been getting this error about 20 turns or so in the game?

Is this the same error that's described here and here? If so, please post your DxDiag.txt file. Follow these steps to create the file:

Hit the "Windows key" and "R", type in Dxdiag, hit enter. A menu will appear, with a save option at the right bottom. Save the file and attach it here.

This provides us with essential information about your system.

Is it correct that you didn't get this error until after the most recent patch? The above links provide some tips that may have helped others with this error, but I don't think that there's a permanent fix.

Sorted it was my Nvidia Geforce Experience program, I changed CivV to optimum and it added GPU Texture decode on which is I believe brought up the error.
