Repeated peace treaty ending notification

In my current game finding that every turn after a peace treaty expires I'm getting the same alert message telling me that the treaty has expired. This message continues until I make another agreement, such as open borders, with the nation. This has happened after three different treaties with different nations, and I was getting messages for two nations each turn at one stage.

I've had this too. Went on for about twenty turns with two different civs until eventually I made new deals with them. Aaf.

It happen to me, when the peace treaty expired 10 turns, but not the tribute which last for 30 and normal speed

Have a look at the attached screenshot please.

It all began about ~40 turns ago when I finished off the Russians. After that, I wanted to declare on Ramses. That however didnt work out, the declare button was greyed out, even tho i never signed peace with him. Hell i wasnt even at war with him once.

So, suddenly i get about 9 notices every turn about cancelled deals. Looks like i sold Ramses 100(thats about the real number I had) horses some time ago and now get them back every turn.

Anyone of you had the same problem? I´m really pissed cause that save is wasted now ..

Sometimes in a game, after I make peace with someone, every turn after the peace treaty expires, I am informed that the peace treaty has expired. I've had this happen in a few games now.

This time, Alexander declares war on me and attacks my homeland. I fight him, defeat his invading forces and shortly after Alexander asks for peace, offering me a lump sum of gold and some gold per turn. I take his offer and peace ensues.

After the 10 turns of our peace treaty, I get the message on the right hand side that our peace treaty has expired. Then this happens the next turn, then the next turn, and so on.

In a previous game I countered this by declaring war on Bismark and then wiping him off the face of the Earth.

See attached game below. You might have to play a few turns before it happens.

Ive had peace treaties with 2 AI players which have both now ended - and now it tells me EVERY turn that the peace treaty has ended - not a big deal but a little bit annoying.

Also a few graphics bugs - water where land should be, etc (NVIDIA 8600GTS)

Hmmm. put this one together with the trade bug giving you back repeated the resource, I think .20 broke any kind of deal with different times for each side.

I just had this same bug with a twist. My allied city states and I made peace with the Japanese. After the Japanese declared war on Copenhagen, who I wasn't allied with, two of my allied city states declared war on the Japanese. Every turn until I declared war again, I kept on getting peace treaty ending messages.

Playing as the Songhai last night, I had a peace treaty with Nappy, since he kept begging for one.

Very nice, I thought, but when it expired, the game chose to inform me of that fact 68 consecutive times. I received a pop up every turn until I finally got fed up, quit the game and went to bed. :(

Anybody else?

I've had this same sort of thing happen in several games. Until you go back to war with them it won't stop. Of course the terms of the peace deal (such as a few horses from the loser to the victor of the last war) keep funnelling along as well.

Yeah, it happened to me. I think it did end up going away after awhile, but I can't remember for sure. I fought him twice and someone else conquered him, so it's possible either a re-declaration of war or his defeat ended it. it was irritating, but I don't think game-breaking.

It seems if the peace deal included them giving you gold per turn, the "peace treaty has expired" message will fire every turn until the gold deal stops.

Hi guys.. First off: Version 1.0.0.20

This bug appears when you include deals that extend the 10 turn peace period.
It will eventually stop saying "peace treaty has expired" once all other deals included in the peace treaty have run their course. Which, by default will also happen if you declare war against them again.

Had this happening last night as well. I found that once I did a manual save the message did finally go away.

Shrug.
