The republicans should just run McCain, its a sure victory. I'm a democrat usually and I would easily vote for McCain over Hillary.

McCain is seen as a democrat in the republican base. No hope to get past the primaries now. A good idea though, because I think his lead might be a morale boost to the american public.

The problem is McCain isn't conservative enough for many Republicans, which is why he loses in the primaries; usually only core voters vote then, which is a shame. Of course, there is nothing stopping Democrats who like him from registering as a Republican and voting for him in the primary, but it has never been done on a big scale to change a primary.

Yes I think the half-sane party is going to loose. It is to be replaced by the totally insane party. Everyone, our problems are about to go back into fester mode. We rue the day that these two parties ended up running things.
