Do we want to have the admins examine the move ?

In turn 143 C3B was caught doing a double move (see the Turn 143 thread). I have reported this to the UN and FortyJ asks if we want to have the admins examine it.

Do we ?

Not that it matters a lot anymore, but I want to point out that CFC has played the turn and while saving the game we saw -yet another- C3B illegal action.
An Immortal came storming out of the jungle; hence an -illegal- double move. See the rules 3.4
Is this an official complaint, and if so, are you requesting that the admins review the game and rule on this action?

Asking for an investigation would make us seem childish, and there are many who already feel this way about us after our handling (by some) of the Joker scandal.

Drop it, and graciously accept defeat. While fighting, of course.

We should request them to investigate. No matter what is going on in the game, breaking a rule is breaking a rule, and the rule breaker must be punished. C3B has been unfair to us the entire game. I don't want them to get away with anything just because the game will be over in a few turns. It won't make us look childish. C3B broke a rule; they should be punished. If we broke a rule, I hope that the other teams would prosecute us, even if it would quicken our downfall.

so just because we are losing, we are gonna let people break the rules?
even if we are losing, its not fair to the other teams, if they use this enough they can take more of our cities than the our other enemies

Make the Brazucan lose a turn, I want them to feel legalized and penalized.
I want their victory to feel embarassing and bitter. It will also be a signal to other teams to give C3B future "special treatment"

Following rules is Respectfully. Demogames not following rules stinks.

Just because a school year is over, if I bring a gun to school, I'm still going to get punished.

Just because this game is over, C3B shouldn't be allowed to get away with breaking any rule.

I voted no because I believe that we would, in fact, look childish. I hope that if the poll continues to go the way it is going (i.e. other than I voted) that the one writing the game admins mentions that we are not trying to be petulant. Offer (even) that any penalty be served after we have been eliminated (thus noone would accuse us of being childish). One other thing...C3B goes right after us, so they can not possibly gain anything by using the 'doublemove'. We are the last to move, so C3B could just as easily have 'popped' the immortal out of the jungle at the same time relative to anyone else.

I think it's fair that if C3Bisn't abbiding rules we should adress that ,given however the matter of not loosing face i suggest If indeed we going to ask for that investigation then don't demand a penalty for the actions.Saying something like we just show it ,we don't expect any consequences as we accept defeat.

Examine it. End game or not, it's still within the parameters of the game. If a baseball player were to use a corked bat in the bottom of the 9th, even if losing 17-1, they'll still be ejected.

BTW, what's the double-move?

You mean winning. Saying losing makes us look like the bat corkers.

I'm not very good at making analogies. ;)

Emp, you can't just wait until your favored vote gets one ahead and then say "that's it, let's investigate". Let it run for 3 days, that is in about 12 hours time. If yes is winning then, fine, investigate. But calling it premature like this isn't any good.

I understand all the arguments about 'it's still breaking a rule,' etc., etc., but come on: this game is lost. Even if they did do something against the rules, it won't change the outcome of this game. Let's leave this game with respect, rather than quabbling over something that WILL NOT change the game any bit.

It would be best to post a long letter on how we are going to take the high road and accept defeat even against those who cheat, and will not push for any consequence.
