Here are some buttons requested by NikNaks 93 for his mod.

I must have made more than 300 buttons since Civ4 came out... If you have any requests, PM me, I'd gladly make more!;)

Hi, Laurino,
Can you please make some buttons for the arda(lotr) mod: a Warrior button for elves, men(i'm using swordsman unit art for that), and Orcs.

thanks alot
sincerely

Thanks!

Well a great deal of them are used in TAM (about 200), and for the rest, there are in many different thread, but soon, I'll start a new thread with my work in there (many many unit/buldings reskin and buttons). I'll post a link in here once ready. Until then, I'm always accepting requests!;)

@ Ploeperpengel: No problem, I PMed you about it;)

I was moving lately, and didn't get that much time to work on the buttons. But here are some "fulfilled" requests.

From left to right:

- Babylonian Archer
- Fire Catapult
- Persian Archer
- Persian Immortal
- Siege Tower
- Fire Altar (Zoroastrian Religious Building)
- Greek Fortress
- Greek Palace
- Nubian Pyramid
- Papyrus ressource

There are a couple of tutorials on button making and graphics in general in the Tutorial forum.

I have already made these ones ( I have stolen the frame from your romancolosseum ).

It is with intention to do technology buttons and I will appreciate comments or advice on what I did by myself.

exemple :
armescombin_es.png

I've also posted architecture, maybe it's

I need a few buttons for my mod. Any chance you could make the following:

Morale promotion 1-5 (some sort of flag maybe?)
Leader Promotion (a horn used for rallying troops?)
Unbreakable promotion (don't know what it could be. Stand-and-fight to the death kind of thing)

I'm actually learning how to do buttons and python programming, trying to add Architecture to my training TechonlyMod, ... but I will give it a try if you tell me the size you need ( I'm not sure ) and what you think about my work as a rookie Architecture.png and Armescombinées.png
Hoping I could help, just wait a few hours because its 13:17 and I'm hungry.

EDIT : Harder than I thought of ... I need some knowledge about Warhammer ( I've already the background, still need the artistic concept ) and feedback if possible

I'm moving into a new apartment, so I won't have Internet for a couple of days. I'll start again on the requests a soon as I got a connection again.

I love these Unit buttons! I've got a problem though, they don't seem to be showing up properly in game. They have lost their beveled edges, as can be seen in this clip of a screenshot.
Could the alpha chanel be getting lost somewhere?

I presume my previous posts in this thread seems a little unseemly but I wanted a little help to start.
Probably, I must start a thread myself.
Those units buttons looks great.
EDIT : the alpha channel ! I think paintdotnet is not very explicit about it.

Ok
With previous buttons, the Alpha channel used to be preserved... I just noticed that it isn't the case with my more recent ones, don't really know why though... This can be solved easily. As for myself, I use The Gimp and Dxtbmp, so I'll explain the procedure with these, but certainly, other softwares could also do the job.

1- Open the button file to be corrected in Dxtbmp

2- In "Alpha" menu on top, select "Import Alpha channel" (You'll get a warning that the Alpha channel of the image will be replaced. Click OK, that's what we want to do...)

3- Select Civ4_Buttons_Alpha.bmp (found at the end of this post) as the new alpha channel.

4- Now "Save as" the image in "DDS DXT3" format.

That's is, your buttons should now appear correctly!

Try Gimp 2.2. It's better than Paint.net.

As for myself, Gimp is THE software to work with... First because it's free, and second because possibilities are amazing... But, since it's not from Windows, the software won't take you by the hand and show you how to succeed in 3 easy steps... On the other hand, "Googling" Gimp will provide you with many interesting tutorials and howtos... I've been working with it for more than a year now... It was sometimes extremely confusing at first, but I gotta say without bragging that I can do pretty much everything with it now, even though I'm still learning new ways to achieve my goals with it everyday...
