Why is it that each time a new version of the mod is installed, the Research Agreement option is turned off?
Are RA's considered imbalanced or abnormal like Raging Barbarians, One-City Challenge etc?
I always play with RA's on, they seem pretty balanced and in place.

Because Tech Trading exists. :)

Not that it's bad or anything to use RAs, there's even approach and opinion checks for them.

I haven't played with them for a while because it just adds yield bloat that speeds the game up unnecessarily IMO. I might reincorporate them into my games at some point down the line. I also disable tech trading because it's really exploitable for snowballing humans to sell techs to inconsequential civs for huge profits.

Tech trading and tech brokering disabled. But research agreements enabled so to not be completely without an option for mutual boosted science.
