War ends in South America! A peace treaty has at last been signed and the Amazonians have ended their war against Spain.
Cuba launches burst of expansion! A massive overseas emigration has occured from the main island of Cuba. The Bahamas, Florida, as well as Haiti have all been settled by Cuban people. The center of this new population movement is focused most specifically in the great new city of Kingston on the island of Jamacia.
New border tensions have emerged throughout the world, espeically around the Caribbean. The Aztecs and Queztals have remained at each others' throats over the border for some time. especially as people from the new cities of Chichen Itza and Tenochitilian move from region to region. To the south, after the end of the Amazon war the spanish have been focusing their immigration into Madrid itself. In the northernmost part of the Caribbean Cuba and Georgia have been at odds over Floridian settlement, several small skirmishes have occured on the border.
In Yukon, the civil war continues as the rebels win their first victory. Thanks to having an upgraded army armed with new copper-headed weapons the Colombians have defeated the initial attempt to advance on Vancouver. By doing this they have inflicted heavy casualties on the larger Yukon army. (-1 Yukon army size).
In Michigan the Iroquois have won a stunning victory, advancing well into enemy territory and driving them far back north. The battle was fought by the near entirity of the armies of both sides, with the crucial exception of a small Michigan army fighting in New Polaxia, which quickly withdrew after word of the defeat reached them. This was an incredibly large battle and casualties have been extraordinarily high. (-1 army size for Iroquois, -2 army size for Michigan.)
To the west, the Souix have been dealt a defeat at the hands of a Polaxian force. Risking all on the eastern front, the entire Polaxian army was withdrawn to fight the Souix. The Souix were caught off gaurd but still managed to put up an impressive fight, and could have won the battle if not for the timely arrival of Georgian military forces, routing the Souix army and driving them out of Polaxia. Casualties were of course rather heavy in this large battle. (-1 army size for Souix and Polaxia.)
