That's not very Christlike.

I feel bad for you guys who have never really forgiven anybody. It's very cathartic.
Actually, Christ said to forgive. However, you shouldn't forget. If I depend on someone, but he fails me, I'll forgive him. However, I won't forget that he failed me, so I'll depend on someone else.

I just rememebered a very nice quote by someone (probably a known guy for sure):
"The best way to destroy your enemies is to turn them into your friends."
I so agree with it...
lets not forget that sometimes the best way to take revange is to forgive...

I have slightly different point of wiew. If I forgive but do not forget I still keep something inside me which will not allow me to take the other side as on equal footing... so I think the best is to forget as well. After all my own inner strenght doesnt depened on something outside of me but on my own self-control. So once I conquer my biggest enemy - my ignorant self- I realy have not much to fear.
