Revolution IOT

A Paradox Interactive game. Set between 1836 and the 1920s. Big on colonies and markets and such but had a fun CB system.

Got a link? Sounds interesting

Ah, that is a-OK then. But if he WERE to DOW me, I'd advise you stop giving him stuff:)

Why? im one of the superpowers in this game, so im allowed to mess around via proxy wars.

by the way, the Mathalamus Republic will soon release Constantinople to Yugoslavia. it will be done next year, as we need to wean ourselves from it. its more difficult than it looks.

note: our official position with Israel is now neutral. we will... tolerate their fundamentalism.

((OOC)) That game is starting to piss me off  I pick Piedmont and as soon as I become a world power everyone declares war on me....freakin' Germans

On topic:
Has the war started or not, your getting on Tito's nerve

I "canceled" that war because of serious metagaming and warned that next war to start because of metagaming will result in negative game events for the player.

the war was called off. white peace. since i don't have an appropriate reason for declaring war, im hoping Egypt fights Israel.

1. Atomic bombs stockpiled before the war, even if ineffective as a whole, are still dangerous. I'm not sure why you don't see that. Of course they aren't effective DURING a war because, after all, the US only build two of them to use against the Japanese in World War 2.

US built more than two, only used two.

Mathalamus declared war on me for OOC reasons. That was why it was called-off by Sonereal. Because it was totally unfair and metagaming.

BTW: Can you please confirm that 1XP for 3LP trade?

Honestly? That's not a good reason. If Egypt went to war and then Spain went along to help Egypt to Liberate Egypt it might be, but not if Spain attacked first "For Egypt's greater good." That's just metagaming.

Egyptians certainly wouldn't mind liberation. As they understand (and the Holy Land doesn't), I was forced between a rock and a hard place, and had to choose which one to suffer.

well... Egypt will have to get the lands back himself then. i have high hopes that he will win this time.

You can always fund me more.

Egypt doesn't seem to want to go back to war. If he does, he will be destroyed.

:crazyeye:

US built more than two, only used two.

After the atomic bombing of Nagasaki, the US was out of atomic bombs. That's why the naval invasion of Japan was planned for much much later so a stockpile (~11-15) would be built to wipe out beach defenses. Of course, Japan didn't know that they only had two and thought they were just testing. :)

15 nuclear bombs to wipe out defenses? isnt that a bit much, seeing as japan was already pretty much dead in 1945?

Japan was planning to fight to the last man if the atomic bombs weren't used. If not for Japan surrendering (which they almost didn't after Nagasaki, it took the Soviet Invasion to finally get them to accept surrender), the largest amphibious landing ever would've taken place in `46/`47 with about twenty-five aircraft carriers as support.

wow they sure are fanatical... i wonder if i can do the same thing to Mathalia...

Oh, were trading again?
