I don't see any reason to limit SoIs there really don't mean anything thats basically like limiting alliances. :\... Limiting diplomacy = fail game. Anyway..

Its getting annoying though, people wanting to claim insane amounts of land and saying they'll DOW anyone who claims in their area which isn't even on their continent!

We didn't create that group for the same reason Omega did it. We aren't doing it to protest to YOU but to protest to THEM and to make them respond to us. And to discuss nonviolent means of stopping it if they do not.

We have heard enough of Liao distortions, baseless accusations and blatant falsification. Any intelligent person who reads this increasingly tiresome exchange can see that the Amur is in the right in this dispute. Instead of a friendly neighbour, the Liao has chosen to have an acrimonious one. We shall say nothing more on the matter; it's now upon the Liao to abandon their designs on Russian territory if they wish to restart negotiations.

"SOI" does not count territories you currently control, though I will probably make people with SOIs not allowed in the group by that point. After you've already got 50, you have everything you need, take what you can get, colonial or not.

OOC: historically false. The Liao Dynasty never ruled the area around Lake Baikal or anywhere north of Mongolia. That area was not populated by Khitans. Seriously, you actually have a better claim to Bukhara and Samarkand than Siberia.

Liao Gaozu has said that this was not to antagonize the Amurians to the west and that the Khitan are open to comprimise.

Claiming, based on falsification of history, territories which Amur considers to be her rightful inheritance on solid historical, cultural and ideological grounds is the definition of antagonizing the Amurians.

How can the Khitans say they are open to compromise when they stubbornly clings to a claim to a territory they never ruled, deaf to requests from the direct successor of the former government of that territory?
