And a little much, yes. But not a lot. For one thing owning Constanstinople puts the Black Sea nation in a vice. He cant get out, but the bad guys cant get in. I was planning to charge 2 LP per turn for my services. If Spain did the same thing he would break even in a few turns.

so? its a huge city, ideal for many things. including navy building, general manufacturing, tourism, army training, control of the strait, and a staging point for operations inside Anatolia, if need be.

not to mention it gives a certain legitimate reason to have Carlos crowed as Emperor of Byzantium. (i read that the Byzantine throne was in Spanish hands De jure)

No. When you gift LP, you can't use that LP that turn. In your post in the claims thread, you posted you're giving 5 LP to DB Corporation this update. That means you didn't HAVE any to spend last turn and that means you shouldn't have an army THIS update.

three XP will be transferred to the DP corp. Two XP will be transferred to Yugoslavia.

Five LP is transferred to the DP corp.

This means you had no leftover LP to spend because you only had 5 LP that turn to spend (you have 7 this turn). They didn't get that LP/XP until the beginning of this turn.

Not your fault.

I think I have a better method for handling updates now so it should be a LOT cleaner next time around. Originally, I had been working on the update on things were posted in the claims thread and while I caught MAJOR changes when relooking through the claims thread, I missed small things like cut maps or word changes. Meanwhile, the table I made in Word switched around a few names for some reason when I wasn't looking so when I went to fix that, some numbers and names were out of place, leading to problems I didn't see until I posted.

I vote Nation of X merely since I suspect they'll be getting a lot of crap over their name, and I think at least three people will vote against them for it. I hope Mad Man doesn't take it personally.
