@Shakey
Thanks for the acknowledgment and you have a good point about diplomacy being laboured under a high number of civs. Have a look around and see if there are other mods that have dealt with this problem. The idea would be "diplomacy filters" where insignificant civs that you have little time for or dealing with, should be barred from even contacting you. There has also been much thinking about forming AI federations where AI's are diplomatically represented by one leader of the federation. It is not simple to code these things and keep it high quality. Jdog5000 the creator of the great Revolution mod and a major contributor to the Better BTS AI, has long thought about the possibility of federations but as yet has not pulled it off. The vassal system is part of the way there, but still small vassals can be diplomatically annoying.
Keep in mind that civ was designed around 18 civs not 50 and the AI actually plays it's best games with lower numbers of civs. That's not even to mention the interface problems with civs greater than thirty.
I've been playing civ for a few years now and used to think that the best games are played with lots of civs and huge maps as well. But now I am realising that standard map sizes with smaller number of civs produces just as good and probably better quality and interesting games against the AI.
Cheers.
