RFC: BtS Bug Reports

I encountered the same thing in all my game since i learned this was supposed to happen. In the standard BTS game the feature still works
The wiki on Stability for this Mod also mentions this tip; so i dont really know what i am doing wrong


any tips ?

Rhye disabled this a couple of patches ago for game balance issues, as the mod was designed with the original effects in mind.

The wiki is wrong and ought to be updated I guess, but it's still potentially worthwhile as you avoid the permanent stability hit that anarchy gives you while in a Golden Age.

However, the Collapsing bug appears to still be around in the latest patch. I'm playing an Ethiopian game and got the "Your empire is descending into civil war" message, but several turns later my empire was still around and I was still in Collapsing stability. On the one hand, this really ought to be fixed or the stability for players becomes much less of an issue - but on the other hand the Ethiopian economy is so massively hamstrung by the awful terrain, the fact they can't collapse due to a poor economy almost seems fair, especially since it was other people's Great Depressions that caused it! :rolleyes:
 
Ok, I'll try and rustle one up.

Were you unaware of this bug? It's been around since before the last patch.
 
the American UHV seems broken. I've had 11 oil resources (none from trading, all mine) and it didn't want to acknowledge my victory. I've eventually won a space race in 2010 AD, I would have won also a time victory in the same turn ^^
I've got a save if needed, but it's probably not needed right ?
 
I also confirm the collapsing bug. I received the message that my Civ was descending in Civil War more than 2 times, but it didn't actually happen. And I honestly think it should have happened.
 
what about the american UHV ? Am I the only one with this problem ? I can't do a search with UHV it seems...
 
BTS latest version, playing as Rome, savegame 1 turn before agreeing to the England flip.

Ah right, forgot about that, even when I already read that somewhere else ;)

I was expecting a flip so I whipped a spy in Londinium on turn 172 (too late by the way), which resulted in the error on turn 173. I tested it without this particular whipping and then it doesn't give the error. Londinium only had 1 archer and I already whipped a spy before which I had just loaded on a galley on the east coast of Britain.
 
Not sure if this has been mentioned before. I am having a problem with the Mercenaries Icon. It seems that every time I press it now, the Game crashes and freezes up my computer. Not sure if this is just with specific Civ's but it happened with Rome and France so far. I have used mercenaries in the past just fine though with other Civ's.
 
Encountered a bug with the interent world prject. As the Arabs, playing for a space ship victory, the Viking re-spawned getting Ecology and Robotics as starting techs. The english already have those 2, yet I am not being granted them by the internet.

Thoughts?
 
Do you have embassies ?
Maybe it doesn't work if they are assigned techs via scripts.

I'm pretty sure about the American UHV problem with Oil btw, do I need to post a savegame ?
 
I was told to report in the bugs thread so here goes:

In my current Turkish game I own the Church of Nativity in jerusalem so I was quite surprised to get the message that the Germans built it as well (in Rome I guess). So now we have 2 churches according to the Wonder screen.
