Barb pressure is way, waaaaaaayyyyy not strong enough. The only reason the West Romans collapsed is due to the arbitrary and forced flips to the germanic civs. Attila did make his first appearance, and it was the first time I saw heavy horse archers. I very narrowly defeated him at Constantinople, where I rushed walls, quite like in real life

. Europe needs a lot more barbarian spawns like Attila e.g. 12 swordmans appear on the borders of Gaul or something like that, because barbarians are barely noticeable.
I have sight on the Jin cities thanks to the Byzantine UP and because I was focusing on them just to be able to see what was going on there for shits and giggles.
Stability is crazy broken for East Rome and I'm not sure why. My economy was doing insanely well, so I'm sure that was a boost, as well the courthouses I built (do they still give stability?)
Franks were the easy to crush, but it would give them more units, because then the game would be ridiculously easy as the human player. Although I have had games as the Franks were I died on turn 2 because I was annihilated by a massive Roman stack in Paris, but that's the fun of the randomness, in a way.
Ideas for making the fall of Rome better:
- Rogue Generals: the majority of the troops of a certain region turn into hostile rebels, or maybe "Roman rebel" civ (not a bad idea, considering the lack of civs in Europe). This could represent historical events such as the formation of the Gallic Empire or another of the many civil wars Rome had to face.
- More barbarians, as has been stated previously.
- West/East rivalry that isn't caused by silly vassalization disputes
- Sassanid pressure on East Rome needs to drastically increase.
- Germanic civ spawns as a follow-up to a massive barbarian invasion. These spawns should be seen as a positive event (less pressure on Rome, possibility of alliance, etc) rather than a forceful removal of territory.
Edit: Seleucid UHV Completion!
