Yeah, here's the .dll source code. Just so you know, I've made changes only to two files:
CvRhyes.cpp to edit starting years and loading time estimates
CvCityAI.cpp::AI_projectValue. The change here is commented (search for "Sedna"). I changed the default iValue from 0 to 100, which does make the AI build colonial projects -- but (probably) essentially randomly.
EDIT: I just deleted CvGameCoreDLL.ncb from the archive so that the file is small enough to upload to the forum.
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I downloaded the newest version, and when I try to play it it crashes at the init graphics stage ( I can start the mod and chose a civ fine).
I haven't used an older version of it before, any ideas how to fix it?
Sorry if you answered it somewhere else.
The error message is a, sorry but civ4 has encountered a problem and has to close, type one.
Do you normally play Civ with "low" graphics options? There is some art in our mod which doesn't work well with that option yet and *might* be causing a crash.
Some funny thing: Everytime I start RFCE (new or by save), I have a ctd after a few rounds. I try again and everything works fine. Don't know whether the mod is responsible or not, but I didn't have the problem with other mods this far (also not with previous versions, that is).

Does the crash occur if you save/reload the game (save right before the crash crash and the reload). Did you install the mod correctly, first completely remove the entire RFCEurope folder, then put in the new one from the archive. Let me know if the problem persists.
As said before, it happens after a few rounds. Did I save? Not that I knew, but maybe it's because the autosaving.
Yeah, I deleted the old folder completely before installing the new one. However, I'll wait for the next version and check for improvement. (I'll try other mods again as well - could be a problem of civ, though I had none before.)
New test version, available from second post of this thread. As I've said before, I will now be scarce for most of the rest of the summer, at least until mid-August.
One other thing: I can't build All Saints' Church with the great prophet, at least not when I should be able to. I see the option before researching "printing press", but after researching it, the option disappears, although I have him standing in the holy protestant city.

Its already in your Protestant Holy City. It's automatically built when you research printing press, no need to have saved up you prophet!
BTW, put posts and questions like those in the player testing feedback thread.
I was just wondering if the new patch is going to be compatible with BtS 3.19. I think it won't work with the current patch, and I'm enjoying my current game too much to try it.

It should just run. Every civ game requires a large number of XML, Python and .dll files to work. Most mods only introduce changes to some files and for the rest they just use the standard Civ files. (for example Charlemagne mod doesn't change the .dll file and most files use regular civ graphics for most units) It is possible that a new Civ patch would change the .dll file and break the Charlemagne mod. However, our mod changes pretty much everything there is to change and hence it should be able to stand pretty much on its own.
I have not tried it, but RFCEurope should work just fine with the new civ patch. If there is any trouble, let me know and I will fix it.
