Dawn of Man text for Swedish contains a typo, I believe -- "claim your rightfully place..."
 
There was a crusade to liberate Jerusalem from Barbarians in 1458! Is this intentional?

There are 5 crusades that can happen before the Reformation. If in 1458AD the Reformation hasn't started yet, and for along period of time Jerusalem was held by a Catholic or Orthodox player, then the Crusades can be quite delayed. This is unlikely considering the new rebellion mechanics for Jerusalem, but it is possible to get a Crusade at any time before the discovery of the Printing Press.

Huhh, how much did you modify the python files?
When I load your save game, all your cities produce other nations unique buildings for example... I'm pretty sure it's a bug in your end
Btw, I can play futher without python errors with the normal (unmodified, latest svn version) files of RFCE.
But there are quite a few other gameplay issues besides the UBs, so the game is basically unplayable

I just dowloaded Beta 13 yesterday and not even touched any python files o_O
And what about unique buildings O_O
If u mean wonders, then yes, i usually try to build as much worldwonders, as i can))
 
Sry, I assumed you tried to change (mod in) something.
This was because I assumed that you play with the latest svn version, where I was also wrong...

When I start your savegame, it looks like this for me:

But it's probably because of the recent changes in the python list of buildings

Anyway, the game continued for me without python errors.
Will give it a second try though, just to be sure

EDIT: So, you are on plain Beta 13, without any updates, right?

Right, it is clear beta 13, not svn, without updates))
Game saved on turn 303, as soon as i end my turn game crushes.

The latest SVN will mess up the buildings order in that save game
Interestingly, your savegame didn't crash for me with it
I have another idea, will test your save game again

Just strage, that no one esle wrote about it.
Just some of my folders that are accessed by a game called in russian(My Documents, for example, and thereis no way to rename it),
maybe it has somehow affects on stability of the game?
 
No, actually it crashes for me too. The latest svn version only messes up the order of the buildings in an already started game
So you can (and should) continue to play with unmodified Beta 13.

But I'm afraid the savegame I posted will crash again
There is something wrong with the WB mechanics. The strange thing in the error log, that those parts of the python code wasn't touched literally in ages.
Last modification of the CvWBDesc.py is 2009 september, the other file in your errorlog is unmodified BtS file :crazyeye:
This must be a very rare bug, or I'm missing something obvious here...

Fortunately I found a solution. Not a fix to the bug, but still a solution:
Just initialize the WB after you load your savegame
Don't have to do anything, go in WorldBuilder then quit.
In my experience that's enough to be able to continue your game

The folder where your WB save is: C:\Documents and Settings\AAA\BBB\My Games\Beyond the Sword\Saves\WorldBuilder\WBQuickSave.CivBeyondSwordWBSave
Where AAA and BBB are both russian characters (your user name and your computer name, or something like this). Am I right?

a few minor bugs/problems (beta13)

something is wrong with the sound/music
there seems to be some new civ specific music, but it's kind of weird.
sometimes the music is there, sometimes it isn't.. anyway I get an error message within the game (see image)


and maybe not a bug, but...
played a game with Austria and i could hire swiss pikemen before i had researched professional army

and another thing, some civs have seemingly a much better chance at recruiting mercs than others

played with Spain and Austria and was able to create a 'mercenary army'
Almogavar's with Spain
Swiss Pikemen with Austria

played Genoa and Portugal and haven't been able to hire a single merc so far
this might be because of the limited amount of 'regular mercs'
(simple Crossbowmen, Guisarmiers)
my idea is that all possibly available 'regular merc' are already hired.

I'm afraid you can't
This is specific to your savegame
I strongly beleive that the issue is from the russian characters
The game cannot find the correct path when updating those automatic WB saves (WBQuickSave.CivBeyondSwordWBSave)
This is why this bug never came up earlier - it may only appear on some of the russian player's computer

Anyway the bug's base is at least partly of Firaxis origin, so I cannot possibly find what causes it directly in RFCE in that specific game you played.
But did you try the solution I posted earlier?
I could always continue playing when I started World Builder.
Just start it and quit, right after loading those savegames, and you should be able to finish your game without any problems

Mercs are far from final yet
Will probably move back the appearance of Swiss Pikeman a few years, but I don't consider that a bug
Mercs are more or less tied to specific turns. On the other hand there can be huge differences in tech research dates from game to game.
We try to add that merc appear dates more or less corresponds with the appropriate techs, but there may be some oddish examples when playing different games or with different civs

Also, the merc list will be expanded greatly
Genoese and Portuguese areas will get more mercenaries for sure

It wasnt helpful.
As we previously thought, problem was resolved only after renaming folders on the way to WBQuickSave.
But renaming caused instability of system :sad:
