RFCEurope 1.0

OK, well I added it to my 1.0, but I only saw the post it was in because I was going through the thread.

I just failed the Hungarian UHV although I controlled the most territory in Europe ( at least the demographics counter told me this )

I played on Emperor difficulty and controlled whole of the Balkans and Constantinople ( + Hungary ofc )

Any ideas?

(sidenote: Life expectancy, rival worst: 16, WTH? :D )

Another sidenote: France is incredibly strong, everyone is near 1100 - 1200 points, and they have 2000. Oh and they have 3 times as many units as I do, and more advanced.

you failed it probably because your territory in the balkans does not count towards that UHV.

That UHV is a bit unclear. It says "have the most territory in europe" But it doesnt say what is meant by europe in that case.

If i interpret the numbers in the pyhon files right europe in that case means everything above the line Gibraltar - Neapolis - Thessaloniki.
So conquering Greece or South Italy won't help. On the other hand you dont have to worry about a huge Arabia, Byzantine or spanish settlements in North Africa.

Oh well >< thanks for the clarification, this is not good at all ><

Why not make Europe the collection of its provinces instead of a line above gibraltar? Is this hard to do? I know nothing about those programing languages, python and stuff, but I have a feeling it might not be so hard to do.

I am already controlling 23% of the land but the second UHV is still marked as missing. maybe it has something to do that i have liberated constantinople back to the ottomans after conquering it?

Do you have vassals? They count as your land in the demographics screen, but they might not count for the UHV.

yes i have germany and venetia as my vassals, did not know that they count as my land at the demograph screen. ok, that means i have some more work to do. thanks for the answer.

Hi all! I'm already doing a translation of the mod into spanish but... I got stuck. Please I don't know where is the mistake :dunno: and I also don't know how to upload the file :S please :help:

Thank you very much. We would really appriciate if you do the other texts too.

I spotted a minor error in the translation. In your translations, you talk about the Russians. But in the mod, they are the Moscowites. Could you please change that?

Anyway :goodjob:

Thanks por the comment, YES YOU'RE RIGHT!! omg I don't know how I did such mistake... now it's fixed :D and yes, I can do french and italian translations also, but it will take longer... so for the moment I'll work in my Spanish translation ;)

P.S. sorry I don't speak russian :(

That would be great if you can translate the texts. Even if you just did spanish would be realy awesome. If you can do the other to that would be totally awesome. It doesn't matter that you don't speak russian.

IIRC, some of the french translations are already in the game, but we still need some.

BTW, where is the fix?

Do you want me to upload the good version right now?? well here it goes.

In my last two games I noticed a strange effect when I made war against Hungary: my units inside their territory were taking damage at each turn without being attacked.

Is it the new Hungarian unique power or a weird bug?

Behold the mighty power of Hungarian Vegvars (Castles)!
The Vegvar is the Hungarian Unique Building, a replacement of the Castle and has the additional ability to damage surrounding units per turn. Later in the game everyone can do this with the Star Fortress building, but the Hungarians do this since they discovered the techs for building their castles.

It's no bug, just their UB
