Rhye's and Fall of the Triumvirates

No I don't have teamviewer, no idea what that is. And I have just initiated the reinstall so my civ will no be playable for the next day or so sorry...

Never mind then.

Teamviewer is a program which lets people control other computers over the Internet.

No, the mod installs fine. Only error message I get is when I open the save, which says something like that the file has been protected in order to make sure that the assets folder has not been modified. But as I said, the mod loads up fine but there are no options to start a game or anything. Really strange

Could be the issue with folder... Please copy paste the path of your RFC MP folder... Should NOT be in My Games...

That depends on where the game is installed actually.

Reinstalled, still the same issue. I have posted screenshots of first the error message and then just the screen I get if I try to start a new game.

It is installed in the My Games directory, although that is where the newer single player version of Rhyes is installed as BTS complete comes with an old version, which runs fine. Also there is the fact it does recognise and load up even though you cannot play a game through it.

Anyone any other suggestions. No idea.

But bare in mind mine is the steam version so it is installed somewhere in the steamapps section of my C drive. If I put the install in there I cannot see the mod at all to load.

Name the paths of the game itself, RFCMP, and mods in general.

I have the steam version as well. The mod should simply be placed under "C:\(...)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword\Mods"

Perhaps you're putting it in the first mod folder and not the one under "Beyond the Sword"?

Facepalm... such a schoolboy error. Feel like a complete idiot... Thanks Methinkso. :crazyeye:

Didn't help that with the other mod I remember now I put in all folders and hoped for the best. Strange that it did load at all from the My Games location though, that completely threw me and I assumed that it must be in the right place, especially in that other folder it didn't show at all. Just goes to show that I really am not used to using mods that aren't directly controlled through steam, like on Skyrim!

I can now do my part in the game, probably as Greece is about to spawn no less either. Let's get my wonder on and try to defend against the roman onslaught! :goodjob:

Thanks Imp and Tigranes for offering help, and massively to methinkso! I feel really guilty about attacking you in instant karma now...

As an aside, what turn number is it and how many till I spawn as Greece? I'm not hugely familiar with the mod but love to try a good knight stomp which is why Arabia appeals to me, when I checked the UHVs over :P

Great question. I GPS'd Turn 31 when I returned from my time away on May 25th and I haven't seen a turn since. Who are we waiting on right now?

We are now at Turn 32 and Tigranes declared war on me. :dunno:

Yep, 33. That was a really fast turnaround.

Actually it's a lone warrior, but it still annoys me that he now blocked my best tile from being worked.

I told you its not a war! :) It's a phoney war, we are just illiterate Babylonians who visit India without knowledge of Open Borders. As soon as we discuss our matters we wont bother anyone, sorry for inconvenience!

I don't buy it or you would have stayed on bad tiles, not move to 3F1C river Sugar. :gripe:
