I forgot to say thank you so much for helping me with this.

Yeah I wonder whats wrong...

That is odd... May I suggest copying+Pasting the entry, and then deleting the ICON_BLDG_Statue_of_Liberty bit and typing it in yourself, and seeing if that works?

I'l try it. Don't know if it'l work, have tried some other mods not one has worked, most stopped at 30% as well.

Doesn't work

although playing on the level of chieftain, aı builds all wonders, their science rate doubles mine..the ship movements aren't good..an aegis cruiser moves 50 per turn..when you start the game the ai borns near you..
a bad designed mod ı think..

I disagree with AI.

I experienced the same problem as Yui108, getting the Statue of Liberty message. I made sure I had the 1.22 patch to my C3C and checked my folders, though I'm not sure everything is where they need to be. Now I get a similar message with the Izumo Shrine instead of the Statue of Liberty, so at least something has changed.

Camran, I think I know what is wrong. I have finally gotten this too work, ( it's worth it ) and so what I did was I made sure all the Rhye's mods like Rhyes of civilisation X and the text files and stuff were ALL in the same folder. My problem was I did not have the text with the game in my playable folder. I think you'll need to transfer your text files to the same file that the Rhye's playable game is on.

Thanks, what folder do you have his files in? C3C Conquests/Scenarios, or what? Also, a stupid question -- if I have a folder of Rhyses' files within a C3C folder, are they accessible, or should the individual files be visible?

I finally have gotten Rhyse's mod to load, only to run into a new problem. Despite all efforts to direct the download into my Firaxis directory, I finally noticed that there was, from a previous download, a set of files in my Infogames directory that had a larger Pedialcons file. So I copied the files in that directory into the Firaxis directory, which resulted in at least bringing up the initial screen.

However, I am now getting an arts/units/ancient_settler.... file not found error message, which kicks me out of the program. I notice this is a message listed on the FAQ page. One of the suggestions is "Check that your ...\Civilization III\art\units folder contains this." "This" seems to be a link that is no longer working, at least for me.

Hmm, as you see by the last few pages in this thread lol it was a big problem for me too.. Well make sure you have ALL the text files in your Rhye's of civilisation playable folder my setup is infogrames:Atari:Civ 3: Conquests: Scenarios:

I finally got it to work by deleting my whole C3C folder and reinstalling everything. I think my folders had gotten too messy.

It reminds me a lot of CIV, probably not by accident. How does everybody like the newer game, compared with C3C and Rhye's mod? I still prefer the look of C3C compared to CIV, but C3C can get tedious, which I hope Rhye's mod will help alleviate.

Welcome to the wonderful world of mods lol-

I have no like whatsoever for CIV 4. I believe it strayed too far for the original intention. I don't care about the fancy graphics! I want solid gameplay !

One thing I've noticed so far is that the wandering barbarians are stronger than my starting warriors, even after I lowered my difficulty level to monarch.
