Rice snubs Ahmadinejad at UN!

Why shouldn't she snub him? Is there any particular reason at all that we should have direct contact with a megalomaniac who was involved in holding our citizens hostage on our own sovereign territory almost 30 years ago and then somehow came to lead that nation?

If she did anything, she should have gone over and punched him in the nuts.
If you want to talk about the history of the Embassy crisis during the Carter Years as the reason of why Rice is doing this, then you must also include our past crimes against the Iranian during the the Years of Dr. Mohammed Mossadegh. Operation Ajax? Did this slip your mind?;)

Oh please. We paid some money for a riot to start. The ChiComs of the PRC funneled a hell of a lot more money into our election in 96. Can I say Clinton was a true Manchurian candidate because of that?

Now that you mention it, he kinda looks Chinese...

Are you referring to my case about the Operation Ajax? If so, it was not entirely a riot, it was an order of assassination by President Eisenhower in order to bring in the Shah back into power. This is for oil and a strategic justification to combat the encroachment of a possible, but not proven, USSR influences. Why don't you know this?

To me, this is actually against International Law. But who the hell cares, since we are above that.

They lobbied some interests in Clinton's pocket, but they did not assassinate his opponent.

Since VRWC is slow to response on my errors (not saying he is well informed about that);). I will inform the truth that he was never ordered to be assassinated. In correction: he was ordered to be deposed by way of bribing his political colleagues and his former minister of interior name Fazlollah Zahedi (who was a retired General). They also pump a million of dollars to infiltrate the media, the Shaban Jafar, and do anything necessary to put the popular Tudeh Party and Ayatollah Abol-Ghasem Kashani under suspicion who were closely allied with the National Front of Iran (Dr. Mossadegh's Party). The Shah later came into the scene because of some dispute on where should the money ought to be allocated. He wanted a whole stake of the oil for himself and his cronies, but instead had to compromise with the multinationals.

He was not assasinated, but died in house arrest.;)

Sorry about the delay, but I'm at work :)

You're lucky. I am not allowed to chat in a forums, blogs, or even go to listen to music at work.:borg: I blame that to my boss's kids, too many downloading musics and they forgot to do some of our shipping orders:mad:

Be your own boss! But then you can rail against 'the man', but at least you can surf!

Working on that. I am going to go to school again and study to be a electrician next year. So hoping for some opportunity to be my own boss....

How in God's name is this even a snub?!

A) He had a translator on and was looking the other way. This indicates he didn't know she was there, and was focused on the current delegate.
B) What was Ms Rice supposed to do? Go over and start talking to him? That's rude to the surrounding delegates and kind of weird.
