I dunno what you have in your pocket, but I've got some change, wallet, keys, some lint....

"This thing alll things devours:
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Grawns iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays kings, ruins town,
And beats high mountains down."

Well Diamondz, I think this deserves a hanging. You get the rope, I'll get some torches and round up some angry villagers :lol:

And got my DSL back [dance]

As for the fountain riddle. Is it blood?

Bad potato! :spank:
Got the rope! :whipped:
Looking forward to seeing those angry villagers.
:mwaha: :mwaha: :mwaha:
:D

Mebbe we could spare him... He did post two riddles, after all...

Anyway.

Nope, not blood :).

Wow. Up to 12 pages. Just a couple easy ones for now, mebbe to jog your brain.

What do you use to hoe a row, slay a foe, and wring with woe?

It is in a rock but not in a stone, it is in marrow but not in a bone. It is in a bolster but not in a bed, it is not living, nor is it dead. What is it?

Only one color, but not one size; stuck to the ground, yet easily flies. Present in sun, but not in rain; doing no harm, and feeling no pain. What is it?

2) letter "r"
3) Shadow

Fountian riddle: life? Though if it is, the continued death does not make sense to me.

Yes, of course the death doesn't make sense if it's life... it's not. :)

I'm sure someone can figure that one out; it's really not that hard.

Now, how about that first one of the new group?

Geez, I am realy off tonight. I can't think of anything for answers.

But here are some for you:

I am nothing but holes tied to holes, yet am strong as iron.

Be you ever so quick, with vision keen, by your eyes, we are never seen. Unless perchance it should come to pass, you see our reflection in a looking glass.

You must keep this thing, its loss will affect your brothers. For once yours is lost, it will soon be lost by others.

:goodjob: Have you read those as you've been hunting for riddles to post here? :lol:

The first two clicked right away, and I was about to lose the third one and then realized the answer. ;)

Yeah, I knew the answer to the first without looking. The second I thought was yourself because I did not read it carefully. The third I didn't know (although I only thought about the 3 for a few seconds since I was looking for ones to post)

Enjoy!

It bears thee many a mile away,
And yet its place it changes ne'er;
It has no pinions to display,
And yet conducts thee through the air.

Once I was water, full of scaly fish;
But, by a new decision, Fate has changed
My nature: having suffered fiery pangs,
I now gleam white, like ashes or bright snow.

We are little airy Creatures,
All of diff'rent Voice and Features,
One of us in Glass is set,
One of us you'll find in Jet,
T'other you may see in Tin,
And the fourth a Box within,
If the fifth you should pursue,
It can never fly from you.
