A man is travelling towards the middle of a field.
He is perfectly healthy, no-one is around to kill him, and it is a perfectly ordinary field, yet he knows when he gets there he will die.
Why? Eh EH EH EH?

Umm. . . .he fell out of a plane?

And D&G's #4. . . Could it be the same as a certian NBA team out of Detroit? A piston?

I don't think that this one has been posted yet:

Imagine that you are in a room with no windows, no doors, no secret or obvious entrances/exits. There is nothing in the room except two chairs and a table. How do you leave the room?

This one i know from ages ago so im not going to say what the answer is, except that it relies on a very dodgy play on words.....:crazyeye:

Actually, I think it has, or at least one very much like it.
Take a look at the very first post in this thread.
And yes, I know this thread is about 3 miles long by now, much too long to read all of it... :)

No, actually it has a very different solution from the first riddle in the thread. Darkness and Rout seem to know the answer, but I'll wait for someone to actually say it before I give them the thumbs up.

never mind

Which company is the biggest manufacturer of vehicle tyres, with over 300 million produced per year?
(Its not one you would think of immediately).

A bicycle tire producer.

Damn, time to post a new riddle to get this tread up and going again.

What comes with the train, leaves with the train, the train doesn't need it but can't go without it?

Passengers! :D

Here's a couple more.

A man without eyes sees plums on a tree. He neither picks plums nor leaves plums. How can this be?

What word in the English language has a different meaning and pronunciation when it is capitalized?

When set loose
I fly away,
Never so cursed
As when I go astray.
