It's still not as bad as that Colin Farrell movie portraying Alexander.I blame that horribly inaccurate Mel Gibson movie....

Still beats that Troy movie with Brad Pitt in which the war seems to go on for only two weeks...It's still not as bad as that Colin Farrell movie portraying Alexander.

Yeah, I really hated that one for not including the mythological elements of the Illiad, like the Greek gods.

Now, we have nothing new about Rise and Fall to discuss...so we have resorted to discussing "historical" movies....
Well, one is a film based on a historical book/myth made by a well known director, the other is a film based on a pulp fiction comic.Pretty sure you're supposed to watch that Troy with all the levity of 300
Well as you can tell I might be kind of biased considering I always have loved learning about Hellenistic history/culture, especially Alexander.Woah! Woooah!!! Hold your horses people!

And I also meant I like the way Civ 6 Alexander looks compared to the movie, which in itself is saying something.
Didn't Alexander Siddig play Perseus or Hermes or something in one of those pseudo-Greek movies? (TBH, outside of Star Trek I've actually only seen him as Gabriel in The Nativity, which also featured Shoreh Aghdashloo as Elizabeth.)
You mean Veggie Tales? I think most of us Americans grew up on that.

He played Hermes in 2010's Clash of the Titans. I only knew that by googling though, since I never watched that movie....

Do we know if Spec-Ops need to be close to an Aerodrome to make an air-drop to somewhere? And if we also need Rapid Deployment for that? I sure hope it works from

Somebody should watch Kingdom of Heaven, Game of Thrones, and Merlin.
I know there are more but I can't think of any others off the top of my head at least that I've seen.
