Hi all!
I'm just heaving a break from playing RoR on Regent as the Persians (I guess I wanted to prevent a Rise of Rome). To be honest it gets boring. In an epic game I could have some difficulties playing on Regent until the industrial age. Not in this Conquest. I get the feeling it was all just handed to me from the beginning. Getting a huge landmass to begin with, getting Egypt for free, the Macedonians where pathetic or just stupid enough to fight Rome as well. I don't even bother with the backwards Cynthians (whoever they are). They could give me my needed xxtra landmass but where is the fun in that? I keep on sending heavy cavalry into Persian-Macedonia now and getting ready to attack Rome. Although they do have a formidable military (I think) they seem to have them all in Northern Europe fighting Celts and Goths. There are 40 turns left and I don't expect to see any serious opposition from Rome before I reach Northern Italy
I am waiting for Rome to Rise but it doesn't! At least not with the AI playing it.....
So pls tell me: Am I playing too low level (time for a change) or are the Persians in RoR really a choice 2 easy 2 be decent?
