No money up here either. It's a rumour spread about by our bandits to draw you into the hills.

Watch out for ambushes.

I have grown quite a custom to this but maybe I should ask. When I click on "exit" on Civ3 Complete it closes normally like anything else but it takes well over 2 minites for my windows XP to recover and become functioning, like going to outlook and sending the turn.

Everything else I run is nearly instantanious system recovery. I just wonder if this is common?

That's just Hawlord messing with your save, Eclipse. :lmao:

It happened to me for a while, I think I reinstalled Civ Complete or something. Can't remeber.

Who me?

What have I done to you Cyc. It's just your 1 eyed squint, you can't see straight. I just use enemy railroads with impunity. So if we get to the industrial age watch out :p

I'm just playing Hawk. Somebody needs to give you a bad time. You have it way to easy over there, across the water.

I have this on my old PC that I've been using lately (because it's the one that still has the 56K Modem built-in -- btw: since yesterday I'm back online with 10Mbits :woohoo: Thanks to my new ISP. Man that feels like flying again...!! Should have switched much earlier.)
Anyway, I think it's a matter of RAM. My old PC has like 512MB, and all my other ones have 1 or 2 GB and I don't have that problem there. (But still: I don't remember it being that slow, when I started playing C3C 7 years ago?! And at that time that box had only 256MB... So perhaps yes, a reinstall once every 10 years might help... :old:)

Cyc, you're up!

It's definitely not a RAM problem. Your puter has picked up a file or something that delays the Internet connection. It doesn't seem to affect other programs (IIRC). But getting online to send the save is a real pain in the butt, 'cause you have to wait the extra time. Run your virus program, look for hidden programs, then re-install. Good luck.
