I think it's now time to raise this topic again: did we decide yet on any definite rules about the two strong units in this game (Warrior Monk and Ninja)?
I'm fine with everything, I only need to know in advance.

I think it was settled that CivAssist couldn't be used in the 2nd Age and beyond. Is that what you're speaking of?
No. Early on we had discussed questions like
"Can we build Warrior Monks, and if yes: how are we allowed to use them? Only passively, e.g 'one defense monk per town', or also offensively, e.g letting them pillage the enemy's resources..."
"Should we ban the Ninja?"
Etc. My opinion is, these units are part of the game, everybody can build them, everybody knows how they work and everybody can take the necessary counter measures, so let's just use them unrestrictedly. But others may feel differently and may want to introduce special house rules with regards to these two units. For example like the rules in Blaze's Samurai Blaze PBEM.
So let's hear what everybody is comfortable with and then make a final rule.

I say let's not make a special rule and build/use them as they were intended to be. Or maybe we can make a special rule that you can not build more than 14 Settlers. More than that may have an unfair advantage.
I don't see the point in special rules. We are already playing a scenario.

Ok let me post this here since most of you play in other PBEMs with me.
My Grandmother died on Sunday morning. Having to get my head around that & do these PBEMs is stressful. So if I don't answer or send the wrong title. So FN what, Deal with it. Anyway Eclipse thinks he'll be back Thursday which is also the day of the Funeral. I hope so, so I can get out of this one.

Daimyo Hawklord, no need to grab at the hilt of your sword, I'm in this area to settle it for it's Jade, I can keep this city weakly defended to make tensions ease. 
This settlement comes with a price, knowing it is on your border and would be an easy target for you. Consider the distance I must travel to retaliate if such an event would occur.
Consider as well that yourDaimyo Moving towards one that is not considering War would bring you great nation to others attention.
If you'll have none of this and believe this "no mans land is yours "Draw you Sword" else there'll be no war by my hand for now!

Well, no. Before building these units, I was just trying to make sure that I don't violate any "house rules" I may have missed.

That is our Jade. It is very close to our capital.
As for our explorers returning home. You must expect them to travel over lands that were wild when they left. All of you Daimyo's are building around our lands when there is plenty of land in other directions.
