I had to zip the .biq to upload it, so when you get it, unzip into your conquests scenario directory and you should be able to run it from your Conquest start page, the civ-content button. It took some noodling around, but it was worth learning to use.
 
While TheOverseer was zipping his biq, I was looking for a good start with my own. I think you'll like this one:

It is not edited. I used a biq with map and resources revealed to find potential starts. Using the world seed with a second biq, I get your start. Since I have the seed, I can recreate it with modified tech cost if necessary.
 
That'll do as far as I'm concerned! (As long as iron is somewhere nearby, which you seem to imply.)

I'm indifferent to the tech cost issue--it may be nice to have some semi-plausible tech pace, so we don't play the whole thing in the ancient age, though I doubt that's really a big problem.
 
Looks good to me, though I am not found of having lots of mountains right in the core in AW. Hope these are the only ones in the area as troops get on them and are much harder to dislodge.
 
Looks good indeed. I assume you verified the presence of Iron and that it was a true Pangaea? My .biq, on further examination, had somehow become set up for Continents instead of a Pangaea, so would require some tweakage.

Edit: is zipping your .biq anything like flicking your bic? :lol:
 
Continents are fine for a game like this as well. Two large masses and maybe two islands, lets them spread the AI's around and means you do not have to face everyone in the AA.

One landmass means no need to deal with size 3 army issues and little need for boats to haul troops.
 
Mathias has just made our day. The start seems good in all respects, the mountains as vmxa said may be a deterrent but mountains nearby can also mean nearby Iron. And a Legion on a mountain cannot be killed easily.

Uh Vmxa, i am kind of vague on the point whether you are just our master strategist ;) or really a part of our team. Sorry if i missed anything. Let me know, I will be delighted to have you for my team :p

And by the way, I don't have long turnlogs. I have very long turnlogs! :lol:
 
I'd say when we get the save, we can start it here or in a new thread. Either way will be fine.
