I get the news that BI already released in Sweden. So I ask all the Swedish fans of the series in this forum, have you bought this game and what's your opinion of it?

Sadly I'm not Swedish, and therefore do not own a copy of the game. But by goodness I'm looking forward to it.

My only problem with the game is, like with the other games, I'll take a while deciding who I want to be. I'm torn between the Huns and the Eastern Empire.

Dang, don't know when will it be release here, can't wait.

@ Ken. I like tactics that focused on cavalry, so I'll propably going to choose Huns or Sarmatians.

OTOH, the Sasanids looks like a good choice too.

MTW's AI is way better than RTW, IMO.

I prefer Rome to Medieval, but love Shogun more than both. I've been buying these games since the beginnning, it is my DUTY to buy the expansion.

Too late I read the review of RTW:BI
Since the AI is still weak I dont think I'll buy it and just wait for the price to drop before shell out cash for it.

I haven't played much of it (had to split time between it, battlefield 2 and something called real life). Played a quick game as the huns, my horde ravaged it's way down to Constantinople and sacked the city, very fun. Took out the Goths on the way there.

Seems like a pretty standard Total War expansion pack. New units, features and slightly different map. Will keep me going for a while.

Please tell me, has the battlefield AI improved?! Its impossible to lose battles it RTW because the AI just charges right at you. The enemy general almost always leads these suicide charges and battles end in seconds. I actually went back to playing MTW because the AI sucked so badly. I don't understand how CA could actually regress in this area.

Couldn't accurately tell you, as most of my battles I've vastly outnumbered my opponent. From what I've seen (and heard), the AI is much the same.

I heard that the AI uses flanking strategies often in BI...
Dont know if it really works though.
