Afternoon, Day 2
Another day passed, and the attitude of the guests was somewhat lighter - the wine they had been drinking was getting to them. Votes were passed in, and it was Hydrino Quattron who would next fall from the top of the Hotel.
Evening, Day 2
Zio, satisfied with the crab he had just finished eating in the hotel restaurant, shuffled up toward his room for another good night's sleep, with his plans for his next big heist put off for another day. No matter, he though, there's always tomorrow.
As he walked down the halls, he noticed the door to suite 15 conspicously open. He gave a knock, and, hearing no reply, stepped timidly into the room. As he entered, he uttered a scream, a sound not uncommon to the Temple Hotel.
Jack Ijuno, who was also in room, however, said nothing, for the simple fact that he was dead - hanging from the room's chandelier.
Octavian V would, after calming Zio, investigate. It was meant to look like a suicide: calm, contemplative face on the victim, suicide note ('Goodbye, cruel demogameworld'), etc. Octavian, though, was unnerved by the fact that no apparent means for the hanging took place - it was obviously 'assisted' in since there wasn't a way for Ijuno to have gotten the rope around his head and the light without a chair. There was a chair in the room, but it was in it's proper place in the corner of the room.
Another thing: this room never has had a chandelier. None of the guest rooms did. How did that get there?
Ijuno was the victim of a murder, pure and simple.
But
who did it?
